Overview

We are looking for a hands‑on Infrastructure Technical Specialist to manage and support enterprise‑scale application platforms in production. The ideal candidate has a good foundation in Linux/Windows administration, web and microservices architecture, patching, and DevSecOps practices, with a solid understanding of security and operational governance within government or regulated environments.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of assigned application platforms, including setup, configuration, patch management and operational upkeep.
  • Set up and manage WebSphere servers in High Availability (HA) mode in production.
  • Participate in architecture and integration discussions involving Web Services, MQ and SFTP connections.
  • Provision and maintain container‑based services, including image repository lifecycle management.
  • Maintain and support enterprise web and microservices architectures.
  • Implement OS‑level and application‑level patching, operational housekeeping, archival, backup and recovery processes.
  • Ensure systems comply with government security hardening, scanning and risk posture requirements.
  • Define and improve operational processes to enhance platform reliability.
  • Support DevSecOps toolchains such as GitHub/GitLab, Bamboo, SonarQube, and security scanning tools.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with RHEL and/or Windows application administration and setup.
  • Experience managing enterprise‑scale online web or microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery processes.
  • Understanding of end‑to‑end web application stack (SSO, web/app servers, databases).
  • Experience with DevSecOps tooling and automation scripting (Shell / PowerShell) will be good to have.
