Job Responsibilities
  • Support the security team in monitoring and maintaining the organization’s security systems.
  • Participate in implementing and supporting cyber security solutions.
  • Assist in handling and documenting security incidents, working closely with internal teams.
  • Communicate updates and findings clearly to relevant stakeholders during incidents.
  • Help investigate and assess security events, collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
  • Work with application, network, and infrastructure teams to support investigations.
  • Assist with vulnerability assessments, threat detection, and analysis of cyber security intelligence.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of incident response playbooks and procedures.
  • Assist with the implementation and management of security tools for monitoring and response.
  • Support efforts to identify and understand potential threats and attack methods.
  • Stay updated on new and emerging cyber security threats and technologies.
  • Support monitoring and reviewing of vendor performance as required.
  • Take up other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support security operations.
Requirements
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in information security or a related field.
  • Professional security certifications is an advantage.
  • Exposure to or keen interest in security tools such as SIEM, EDR, or related monitoring solutions.
  • Good understanding of networking, operating systems (Windows, UNIX), Active Directory, or cloud environments.
  • Awareness of cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and basic incident response concepts.
  • Effective communication, both verbal and written, with willingness to learn and grow.
  • Positive attitude with initiative, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
