A leading staffing agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced network administrator to maintain and administer network environments. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in network security, and familiarity with network infrastructure devices. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and vendor management. This role requires a strong understanding of networking best practices and may involve after-hours support.
Maintaining and administering the networks environments including hardware, and configurations.
Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network problems.
Replacing faulty network hardware components when required.
Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
Coordinating computer network access and use.
Administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers.
Responding to inquiries from users, IT peers, vendors and to provide technical assistance and support.
Ensure control and compliance for the systems and servers related are available to only authorized users which follows policies and SOPs closely.
Attending audit meetings and ensure proper documentation of all work done.
Vendor management.
Establish/maintains customer relationship with partners or internal users to ensure complete understanding of business processes to enable the delivery of viable Infrastructure solution.
Provide PABX support based on Client’s SOP and documentation.
Attending to machine faults related to network problems during office and after office hours.
