Job summary

A leading childcare provider in Singapore is seeking a qualified professional to support the holistic development of infants and toddlers. Responsibilities include planning child-centered programs, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and engaging families in the learning process. Candidates must hold a Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care and Development, a valid first aid certificate recognized by ECDA, and be registered with ECDA with EY1 certification.

Qualifications

  • Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care and Development (CIT) required.
  • Must have a valid first aid certificate recognized by ECDA.
  • Registration with ECDA and EY1 certification are necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and support the learning and holistic development of infants and toddlers.
  • Lead in planning and implementing child-centered intentional programmes.
  • Establish strong partnerships with families for continuity of learning.
  • Comply with government regulations and quality assurance frameworks.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Child Development – Applies child development knowledge to promote and support the learning and holistic development of infants and toddlers.
  • Learning Environments and Curriculum – Leads in planning and implementing a child‑centered intentional programme based on a cyclical process of observation, documentation and evaluation to facilitate children’s learning needs and interests in accordance with the Early Years Development Framework (EYDF).
  • Family Engagement – Establishes and ensures strong partnership with families by communicating and sharing information and knowledge in child development to facilitate the continuity of learning between the centre and homes.
  • Regulations, policies & compliance matters – Complies with government regulations and quality assurance framework such as:
  • Child Care Act and Regulations
  • MOE SPARK, etc.

Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements
  • Has Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care.
  • Has a valid first aid certificate recognised by ECDA.
  • Has registered with ECDA and attained the EY1 certification.
