Job summary

A childcare services provider in Singapore is seeking an Infant Care Teacher to support the learning and development of infants. Responsibilities include providing routine care, maintaining learning environments, and communicating with parents. Candidates should have ECDA certification and experience in early years settings. This role offers a salary range of $2,400 – $3,200 and requires availability from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain safe and organized learning spaces.
  • Monitor and document children’s development.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Communicate updates to parents.
  • Collaborate with teaching teams.
  • Participate in training and programmes.

Skills

Experience in infant or early years settings
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Education

ECDA-certified (EY1 / EY2)

Job Description
  • Support the learning and development of infants and toddlers through age-appropriate and stimulating activities aligned with the centre’s curriculum.
  • Provide routine care, including feeding, toileting, nap supervision and hygiene maintenance.
  • Set up and maintain safe, clean and organized learning and play areas, including learning corners.
  • Monitor and document children’s development and progress according to centre guidelines.
  • Maintain classroom materials and ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene requirements.
  • Communicate programme updates and children’s routines to parents.
  • Work with teaching teams to implement curriculum, centre events and operational duties.
  • Participate in required training and preschool programmes as assigned.
Requirements
  • HCIC / CIT / ACEY (candidates currently undergoing HCIC/ACEY may apply).
  • ECDA-certified (EY1 / EY2).
  • Experience in infant or early years settings is preferred.
  • Able to carry out routine care duties for infants and toddlers.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
