Job description

To lead end-to-end recruitment and manpower planning for the beauty business in compliance with Singapore MOM regulations, ensuring timely hiring, proper work pass management, and a sustainable workforce to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Manpower Planning (Primary Focus)
  • Manage full recruitment cycle for beauty and service roles, including Therapists, Aestheticians, Consultants, Outlet Supervisors, and HQ staff
  • Plan and execute manpower strategies in line with business needs and MOM quota requirements
  • Conduct interviews, skills assessments, and trade tests
  • Coordinate hiring approvals and placement across outlets
  • Maintain recruitment reports and manpower dashboards
Work Pass & MOM Compliance
  • Handle Work Permit and Pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and appeals
  • Liaise with MOM and relevant authorities on employment matters
  • Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and Tripartite Guidelines
Onboarding & Employment Administration
  • Oversee the onboarding process, including contracts, LOAs, and statutory declarations
  • Ensure employment terms comply with MOM regulations
  • Coordinate medical check-ups, insurance coverage, and accommodation (where applicable)Manage staff records and HR documentation in accordance with PDPA requirements
Employee Relations & HR Advisory
  • Advise management on HR policies, disciplinary matters, and grievance handling
  • Support confirmation, appraisal, promotion, and transfer processes
  • Guide outlet managers on HR-related issues and manpower optimisation
  • Assist in dispute resolution in line with MOM and Tripartite standards
Retention & Workforce Stability
  • Analyse attrition trends and propose retention initiatives
  • Support career progression pathways
  • Partner operations teams to reduce turnover and manpower gaps
Who We're Looking For
  • Diploma / Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Minimum 3–5 years HR experience, with strong exposure to recruitment and MOM work pass management
  • Prior experience in beauty, wellness, retail or service industry preferred
  • Well-versed in Employment Act and Pass applications frameworks
  • Experience dealing with MOM audits and inspections is an advantage
  • Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to manage high-volume hiring and fast operational timelines
