Job summary

A local wealth management firm in Singapore is looking for a highly experienced Human Resource & Administration Manager. In this standalone role, you will manage all HR functions and ensure smooth office operations. Responsibilities include maintaining employee records, payroll processing, recruitment, and overseeing office administration. The ideal candidate should have a relevant degree, at least 5 years of HR experience, strong communication skills in English, and the ability to communicate in Chinese. This position requires a high level of integrity and strong organizational skills.

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and committed Human Resource & Administration Manager to manage the full spectrum of HR functions and oversee smooth office operations. This is a standalone role suited for someone who is hands-on, organised, and able to work independently with strong self-discipline.

Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
  • Maintain and update employee records, leave records, payroll details, CPF contributions, and medical / hospitalisation benefits with strict confidentiality.
  • Perform monthly payroll preparation, including manual salary computation, allowances, deductions, and CPF / IRAS submissions.
  • Generate monthly salary transfers and ensure timely issuance of pay slips.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment : job posting, screening, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including laptop setup, system access, and office access passes.
  • Ensure compliance with MOM, IRAS, CPF Board, and other employment regulations.
  • Handle Employment Pass (EP) applications and renewals for foreign employees.
  • Support performance management cycles and annual IR8A preparation.
  • Work closely with accountant / auditors during year-end audit and financial reporting periods.
Office & Administrative Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day office administration and ensure smooth running of office operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company documents and sensitive information.
  • Track and manage renewal dates for contracts, leases, insurance, and building management matters.
  • Handle procurement, vendor management, and office / pantry inventory.
  • Manage petty cash disbursement and reimbursement processes.
  • Ensure timely renewal of business licences, permits, and company insurance policies.
  • Maintain awareness of ACRA and corporate governance requirements.
Requirements

Degree in HR Management, Business, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of HR and administrative experience, preferably in a standalone role.

Strong ability in manual payroll calculation, including CPF, proration, and statutory requirements.

Strong communication skills in English.

Ability to communicate in Chinese is required to liaise with Chinese-speaking counterparts and handle Chinese-language documents.

High level of integrity, responsibility, and self-discipline.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work independently.
