Job summary

A government defense agency in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Human Resources professional to develop and review manpower policies. Ideal candidates will bring at least 2 years of HR experience, alongside exceptional analytical and communication skills. Responsibilities include policy development, data analysis and stakeholder consultation in a dynamic environment. What the role is:

Develop, review and promulgate manpower policies and guidelines to attract, recruit, manage, and retain quality people in the organisation.

What you will be working on:
  • Conduct research and analyse data and trends related to manpower policies
  • Consult stakeholders and propose recommendations for management's decision
  • Communicate and implement manpower policies
  • Evaluate deviation requests from policy guidelines
  • Provide guidance and advice to HR practitioners on policy application
  • Undertake projects to support the formulation and review of manpower policies in MINDEF/SAF Challenge(s)
  • Work in a high-tempo and dynamic environment
  • Stay well-versed in MINDEF/SAF manpower policies, processes and regulations
  • Maintain keen awareness of organisational developments, key initiatives, industry-wide trends and best market practices
What we are looking for:
  • At least 2 years of work experience in human resources is preferred
  • Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, statistical programmes). Applicants with no experience may apply.
