Key Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee and ensure compliance with all applicable statutory requirements and internal headquarters policies related to Compensation & Benefits, including MOM regulations, employee-related legislation, and Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards.
- Ensure the Company’s compensation structure remains competitive through regular benchmarking against organizations within the manufacturing, contract manufacturing, and semiconductor industries.
- Plan and manage the annual performance appraisal and merit increment exercises to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Review and propose competitive compensation packages for salary adjustments, promotions, and role upgrades in accordance with approved guidelines and budgets.
- Develop and implement annual bonus planning proposals and oversee bonus payout processes to ensure alignment with approved budgets and policies.
- Lead and participate in the annual budgeting exercise related to manpower and compensation costs.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry practices, and changes in government regulations that may impact the Company’s compensation and benefits framework.
- Develop, review, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation related to compensation and benefits.
- Act as the key liaison for HRI and HRMC matters.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and participate in HR projects to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Training & Development
- Provide guidance and support to the HR Administrator in the administration and coordination of Training & Development activities.
- Oversee the identification of training and development needs to enhance employees’ skills, competencies, and career development in alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct training needs analysis using competency frameworks and recommend suitable learning and development programmes.
- Act as an internal consultant to design, facilitate, and support the implementation of learning and development initiatives across the organization.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Sound knowledge of Singapore employment legislation, HR best practices, compensation and benefits analysis, and training and development functions.
- Experience or knowledge in Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements will be an added advantage.
