Job summary

Job Descriptions:

The HR Manager is responsible for managing the full spectrum of human resources functions in the organization. The HR Manager will work closely with business stakeholder, department heads, and employees to ensure the effective management of the workforce and the alignment of HR initiatives with the company’s strategic objectives.

  • Handle end-to end Payroll Processing.

  • Collaborate with leaders and department heads to determine staffing needs and forecast talent requirements based on business goals.

  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle (source, screen, interview, hire and onboard) and keep track of job boards, social networks, industry contacts and other platforms that enable HR hiring especially for logistics and retail front-line positions.

  • Overseeing company performance appraisal process by effectively managing the performance of employees and ensuring the development and retention of top talent.

  • Develops and maintains a fair, competitive, and motivating compensation and benefits structure that supports the overall goals of the business and promotes employee satisfaction and retention.

  • Streamline and maintain a record of the company's monthly incentives/commissions, and regularly review the incentives/commissions scheme to ensure it aligns with the business objectives.

  • Identify the learning and development needs of employees in collaboration with managers to ensure the workforce has the skills needed to achieve organizational goals.

  • Understanding of employee relations strategies to ensure a positive work environment and handling conflicts, grievances, and employee complaints in a fair manner.

  • Ensure compliances to all relevant labour laws, including those related to employment contracts, benefits, and workplace rights.

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's insurance policies, ensuring adequate coverage for all risks. This includes coordinating renewals, reviewing policy terms, and liaising with insurance providers to ensure optimal coverage and cost-efficiency.

  • Align HR initiatives with the organization’s overall strategic objectives, ensuring HR supports the company’s long-term goals.

  • Oversee the HR department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented for all HR functions.

  • Prepare and present HR reports to management, offering insights on staffing, turnover, employee performance, and other key HR metrics.

  • Any other duties as assigned by the Management


Requirements:

  • Possess Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a human resources or HR executive role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for reports/ data analysis, PowerPoint for presentations, Word for policies and internal communication).

  • Required language: English and Chinese Mandarin in order to communicate with chinese customer and associates

  • Required knowledge of Labor Laws: Strong understanding of local Employment Act, and compliance requirements, such as anti-discrimination, TAFEP guidelines, and other HR-related legalities.

  • Ability to identify challenges or HR-related issues, analyse root causes, and propose solutions, especially in areas like performance, employee relations, and retention.

  • Mature with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Have strong business acumen and able to analyse data and make informed decisions.

  • Immediate start is a plus
