Job Description
The ideal candidate will serve as a Human Resources Executive and manage HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll and performance management for employees. The role also involves driving process improvements, ensuring policy compliance with legal requirements, and fostering a motivated work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform full spectrum of HR operational duties: recruitment, onboarding, payroll and performance management.
- Check hiring needs, screen and interview candidates.
- Conduct orientation and onboarding process, including work pass and P‑file system updates.
- Handle end‑of‑probation processes (confirmation, insurance entitlement).
- Manage employee welfare: insurance and benefit claims, leave management.
- Process payroll through HR system (Times Soft) and maintain employee records and personnel files.
- Coordinate training and development programs.
- Conduct exit interviews and clearance.
- Review HR policies and practices to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Assist in standardising and streamlining internal HR processes.
- Assist in formulating salary, compensation and benefits plans by collecting market data.
- Attend to employee relations matters, including communications, benefits review, inquiries, investigations and engagement activities.
- Administer grant applications timely.
- Implement performance review program and ensure timely and consistent quality of reviews.
- Perform general office administration duties (equipment, supplies, transport, etc.).
- Maintain liaison with external service providers, vendors, government agencies, labor matters.
- Manage work passes application, renewal, cancellation and appeals process.
- Respond to staff enquiries and HR requests.
- Any other duties as directed by the HR Manager.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Results oriented, resourceful, resilient, meticulous, with initiative and a “hands‑on” attitude.
- Strong sense of urgency; able to prioritize, meet deadlines and work beyond contractual hours when required.
- Ability to work under pressure and be a dedicated team player in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of Employment Act, CPF and MOM guidelines and related government claim processes.
