Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore seeks a Payroll & Compliance Officer to manage payroll inputs, oversee onboarding and offboarding, and ensure HR compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in HR or Business, with strong attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office. Key responsibilities include handling payroll, managing employee records, and updating HR policies. Successful candidates will be proactive and capable of maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Handle payroll inputs (OT, leave, allowances, claims) accurately.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Monitor TMS data and track absenteeism & OT.
  • Update HR policies, SOPs, and support disciplinary processes.
  • Administer employee benefits and insurance updates.

Job description
Payroll & Compliance
  • Handle payroll inputs (OT, leave, allowances, claims) accurately.
  • Maintain HRIS and support statutory submissions (CPF, IRAS, MOM).
  • Prepare documents for audits (SEDEX, labour inspections) and ensure PDPA compliance.
Employee Lifecycle
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Prepare and manage employment contracts, renewals, and probation tracking.
  • Maintain employee records, uniforms, and handle work‑pass applications/renewals.
Time & Attendance
  • Monitor TMS data and track absenteeism & OT.
  • Prepare monthly attendance and timekeeping reports.
  • Manage special leave schemes (e.g., Off‑in‑Lieu).
HR Policies & Reporting
  • Update HR policies, SOPs, and support disciplinary processes.
  • Liaise with HR and payroll vendors when required.
  • Prepare HR reports (headcount, attrition, absenteeism, etc.).
Operational & Welfare Support
  • Improve HR processes for efficiency and compliance.
  • Administer employee benefits and insurance updates.
  • Coordinate staff welfare activities and support training administration.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • Basic understanding of HR functions (payroll, onboarding, records) is a bonus
  • Strong attention to detail and good with numbers/data
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
