Qualifications

Job Summary
  • Manufacturing firm handling 300-400 headcount (mixture of blue collared workers and executives)
  • Mon - Fri office hours, transport provided from various MRT
  • Compensation & Benefits specialization
Job Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits
  • Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and internal Compensation & Benefits policies.
  • Manage and review compensation structures to ensure market competitiveness through regular benchmarking.
  • Plan and administer annual performance appraisal, merit increment, and bonus exercises.
  • Review and recommend compensation proposals for salary adjustments, promotions, and role changes in line with approved guidelines and budgets.
  • Lead annual manpower and compensation budgeting activities.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, industry practices, and regulatory changes impacting compensation and benefits.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and documentation related to Compensation & Benefits.
  • Support internal governance and committee-related HR matters.
  • Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Training & Development
  • Oversee the administration and coordination of Training & Development activities.
  • Identify training needs and recommend suitable development programmes aligned with business objectives.
  • Support the design and implementation of learning and development initiatives across the organisation.
Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant HR experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a structured environment.
  • Good knowledge of local employment legislation, compensation and benefits, and training and development practices.
  • Exposure to recognised labour or compliance standards is an advantage.
