About the job HR Coordinator / Executive

We are looking for a Human Resource Executive for one of our global shipping clients. Reporting to the HR Manager, this position will be responsible to support the department in payroll, expatriate management and Learning & Development. Additionally, the incumbent will support in recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement when needed. The ideal candidate would have at least 2-3 years of previous working experience in a similar position.

Key Accountabilities:

Payroll

  • Manage payroll processing and ensure timely submission of statutory payments and claims
  • Prepare monthly payroll report and reconciliation
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and bonuses
  • Maintain and update employee records within system
  • Submit employees yearly income tax to IRAS (including IR21)
  • Assist in payroll audits and compliance checks as required
  • Arrange for visa related issues (Employment Pass, Dependants Pass, etc.)
  • Arrange expatriates accommodation, arrival and departure schedule
  • Prepare documentation and gather income information for expatriates personal income tax
  • Check and process related bills/ payments

Learning & Development

  • Source relevant training/ courses and implement training plan for employee
  • Arrange training application/ administration
  • Arrange training subsidy/ training grant application
  • Maintain and update training records
  • Follow up evaluation after training/ courses
  • Check and process related bills/ payments

HR Projects

  • Assist and support in various ad-hoc HR projects/ activities

Requirements:

  • Minimally a Diploma/Degree holder
  • Preferably with at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in payroll and expatriate management
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
