HR Associate

The HR Associate supports daily HR operations for a multi-outlet QSR brand. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for someone starting their HR career and looking to learn frontline HR, recruitment, payroll support, and employee relations in a fast-paced environment.

Recruitment & Hiring Support
  • Support high-volume frontline hiring.
  • Prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
  • Track hiring status using simple trackers or ATS.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding documentation.
Onboarding & Employee Administration
  • Prepare onboarding packs and first-day checklists.
  • Collect and verify employee documents.
  • Maintain accurate employee records (digital and physical).
  • Update HR systems with new hires, transfers, and exits.
Payroll, Attendance & Leave Support
  • Assist in payroll preparation.
  • Attendance records.
  • Overtime.
  • Leave balances.
  • Flag discrepancies and follow up with outlets.
  • Respond to basic payroll and leave queries.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and records are complete.
Outlet & Frontline HR Support
  • Act as first point of contact for basic HR questions from outlet teams.
  • Support outlet managers with:
    • Attendance tracking
    • Documentation
    • Policy clarification
  • Escalate disciplinary or sensitive issues to HR Lead promptly.
Employee Relations & Compliance Support
  • Assist with documentation for disciplinary cases.
  • Track warning letters and case files.
  • Ensure HR documents are audit-ready.
  • Support work pass or statutory documentation where applicable.
HR Projects & Improvement
  • Support HR initiatives such as:
    • Employee engagement activities
    • Training coordination
    • Policy rollouts
  • Help maintain HR trackers and dashboards.
  • Identify admin or process gaps and suggest improvements.
Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Business
  • Psychology
  • Or related fields
