Job summary

A trading company in Singapore is seeking a dedicated HR and Administrative Assistant to assist with recruitment, training, and operational support. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in HR or Business Administration, proven experience in similar roles, and proficiency in HR software and MS Office. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. This position is exclusively for Singaporeans.

Job description
Human Resources:
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial interviews.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs.
  • Assist in the preparation of payroll.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide timely assistance.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as required.
Administrative:
  • Assist in vehicle road tax Renewal
  • Manage the renewal processes for Health & Safety (H&S) insurance, Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) insurance, public liability insurance, and cover notes.
  • Arrange and coordinate training sessions for employees, ensuring compliance with company training requirements.
  • Including stationery, cleaning supplies, uniforms, and pantry items.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of company facilities, including lifts and plumbing systems.
  • Assist in organizing company events such as the Mooncake Festival, Seventh Month (Hungry Ghost Festival), and Chinese New Year celebrations.
  • Support general administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with HR software and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solving skills.
