In the process, learn how Merchandising is done for an online store and understand the world of supply chain that helps bring great products to great customers.

Job Description

• Sourcing for new and unique products from all over the world by identifying customer preferences and forecast consumer trends
• Analyse data on revenue, margin on product performance and initiate strategies in response to current sales trends
• Timely communications with external partners and our Operations team on incoming shipment of goods
• Liaise with our in house production team for product photoshoots
• Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality to determine the best choices
• Negotiate terms of agreements to achieve the best deal for HipVan
• Ensure the timely delivery of products and compliance with the contracts of purchase

Requirements

• Passionate about great design and crafting a good customer-first brand (a plus if you have ecommerce background)
• Possessing knowledge in all Adobe and related software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
• Dedicated to deadlines and have excellent time-management to always be on schedule
• Responsible team player with strong problem-solving skills and ability to think out of the box
• Highly organized and motivated, a team player and fast learner
