Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an agile engineering team, fostering ownership, accountability, and technical excellence.
• Lead the transition away from vendor applications to internally developed delivery management technology with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and leadership teams to align engineering efforts with organizational goals and customer needs.
• Implement and uphold best practices in software architecture, system reliability, security, and scalability
• Identify and reduce dependencies on external vendors while increasing internal technology capacity.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation by adopting new technologies and development methodologies suited to the logistics space.
• Mentor engineers and promote a high-velocity, collaborative team culture to meet increasing demand.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years’ experience in engineering roles, with significant exposure to team leadership or engineering management, preferably in high-growth startups, SaaS, or logistics tech environments.
• Proven ability to lead technology transitions from external vendors to fully owned internal platforms.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and agile software development.
• Skilled at building, mentoring, and scaling engineering teams in fast-paced settings.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Passionate about using technology to transform logistics operations and solve real-world challenges.
