Job description

He/she oversees the entire life cycle of all applications within the Downstream supply chain Department that includes the domains of Order to Cash, Customer Care, Warehouse Management, Transport Management and Supply Execution. Within this scope, He/She oversees all activities from concept to retirement, including ideation, framing, delivery, and operational running (in alignment with the SDM organization). He/she leads a team of Domain Leaders and proactively manages relationships with the internal clients of his/her department.

• Manage and oversee the zone-wide application portfolio, drive effective usage and deployment, cooperating with dedicated teams in the IT organization related to his/her Department
• Applications include but not limited to SAP ECC, SAP S4 HANA, Warehouse Management Systems, Transport Management SystemsDefine the IT strategy for the Downstream Operations Department in line with the business strategy, Geo. Ops&Fin Lead and the Global Department lead, develop IT vision/mission, roadmaps and policies including security and quality.
• In alignment with Geo. Ops&FinLead and Global Department Leader, develop the IT master plan into an operational Strategic plan for the Zone Department, including financial, human and material aspects
• Manage and control the overall IT Build budget of the Zone Department in alignment with Geo. Ops&FinLead and Global Department Lead.
• Consolidate the Run budget assigned to his/her Zone Department even if the Run budget is owned by SDMTogether with the Geo. Ops&Fin Lead and Global Department Lead, keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies, evaluate their business value, applicability and utility to the Group/specific business and participate in discussionsaround innovation in relation to external market/technology trends
• Liaise with the Geo. Ops&Fin Lead and Global Department Leader for alignment on the Global/Zone strategic plan and roadmapLiaise with all business sponsors of the Department to oversee the lifecycle from idea to projects and applications lifecycleRepresent his/her Department in Zonal/Global Steering Committees of big Transformation programs when his/her zone is impacted
• Ensure good integration between all Domains of his/her Department and ensure that design choices are consistent between Domains
• Sponsor and ensure that all Global & Zone IT governance principles are correctly applied within his/her Department (ITSM principles, ITBM, etc.)Elaborate with his/her Domain leaders on strategy for application portfolio rationalization
