The Head Chef will oversee all aspects of the kitchen, develop authentic Korean menus, and ensure food safety and quality. The Head Chef will be responsible for delivering authentic and high-quality Korean dishes while managing kitchen operations, food safety, and team leadership to ensure consistency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage daily kitchen operations for Korean cuisine
  • Plan, develop, and execute authentic Korean menus in line with the restaurant’s concept
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes
  • Manage food cost, inventory, and supplier coordination
  • Ensure full compliance with NEA food hygiene and safety regulations
  • Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff
  • Maintain high kitchen cleanliness and operational standards
  • Minimise food wastage and optimise kitchen efficiency
Requirements
  • Relevant experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in Korean cuisine
  • Strong knowledge of traditional and modern Korean cooking techniques
  • Proven leadership and kitchen management experience
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
