Job summary

A hospitality company in Singapore is looking for a Hotel Receptionist to manage guest check-ins and check-outs while ensuring compliance with hotel standards. Responsibilities include monitoring room status, handling cash transactions, and addressing guest requests. Candidates should have a diploma in hospitality, good communication skills, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. This role requires shift work, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Handle checking in and checking out of Hotel guests in accordance with Hotel Standard of Procedure.
  • Monitor room status on a daily basis and report status accordingly.
  • Communicate with Housekeeping on status of Hotel guests arrival and departure.
  • Accurately handle cash float, credit card charges and cash payment.
  • Familiar with various types of booking and room categories.
  • Handle guest requests, feedback and direct request to appropriate departments.
  • Book taxi and arrange wake up calls for Hotel guests.
