We are seeking candidates with a passion for creating memorable experiences to join our front office team. As a Guest Service Executive - Front Office, you will ensure that all guests enjoy their stay and depart with a desire to return.
You should have excellent command of English, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure smooth shifts and seamless guest experiences.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing guest check-ins and room assignments in accordance with hotel policies, discounts, and upselling strategies. Accommodate special requests when possible.
- Handling check-in/check-out procedures, including luggage assistance and payment collection, following cash handling and credit card policies.
- Responding to inquiries about hotel services, events, directions, and local attractions. Assisting guests with safety deposit boxes, additional keys, transportation, etc.
- Pre-registering, blocking reservations, and managing same-day and future bookings. Cancelling reservations as per policies.
- Performing night audits and preparing necessary reports during midnight shifts.
- Handling Marriott-related inquiries.
- Maintaining confidentiality of company, hotel, brand, and guest information in line with privacy policies.
- Arriving on time, in uniform, and adhering to scheduled shifts.
- Attending departmental meetings.
- Maintaining a professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work in other departments as needed.
- Complying with policies, safety, security, and emergency procedures.
- Writing shift reports, including incidents of theft, accidents, or injuries.
- Consulting with a supervisor before leaving the work area.
- Participating in special projects, task forces, and committees.
- Performing any additional duties assigned by management.
