• Handle phone calls and inquiries relating to reservations.
• Greet and coordinate the seating of guests.
• Recognize regular guests and highlight their preferences.
• Ensure guests’ requests are not delayed.
• Record and report guests’ complaints to management.
• Promote the restaurant and establish a loyal customer base.
• Maintain cleanliness and equipment in the restaurant.
• Work with the service team to serve customers.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Handle phone calls and inquiries relating to reservations.
2. Greet and coordinate the seating of guests.
3. Recognize the regular guests and highlight to the Executive Chef / Restaurant Manager about the particular guest’s preferences.
4. Ensure guests’ requests are not delayed.
5. Record and report all guests’ complaints to the Executive Chef/Restaurant Manager immediately.
6. Promote the Restaurant by establishing a loyal and regular customer base, maintaining a regular customer database and provide personalise customer service.
7. Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness, the maintenance of furnishings and equipment and the proper set up of in the Restaurant and connected areas or pantries.
8. Work together with the Service Team to serve customers, including but not limited to taking orders, clearing tables, polish wine glasses and others as assigned by the Restaurant Manager.
9. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
