About the team

Growth & Revenue Systems in Strategy & Operations is a new team focused on driving experimentation across marketing, sales, and product to accelerate growth, and innovating on core revenue systems (CRM, Marketing automation) to maximise effectiveness of our teams. We are a mixed group of colleagues spanning commercial, engineering, data, and marketing passionate about driving rapid impact. We leverage data insights, sharp problem‑solving skills, and a deep understanding of the business to optimize processes, identify growth opportunities, and ensure Airwallex operates efficiently and effectively at scale.

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a Growth Creative Lead who can blend creativity, data, and strategy to drive measurable impact across our lifecycle and growth marketing programs. Reporting into the Head of Growth, this is a hands‑on creative leadership role that sits at the intersection of design, marketing, and experimentation — shaping how we tell our story and convert audiences across every stage of the customer journey.

You’ll collaborate closely with Design, Brand and Product Marketing teams to concept, test, and optimize creative campaigns that drive awareness, activation, and engagement. You’ll also work with internal and external creative resources to deliver high‑quality assets, ensure brand consistency, and continuously improve creative performance through data‑driven insights.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the creative direction for growth and lifecycle marketing campaigns across digital, email, web, and paid channels.
  • Partner with Design and Brand teams to translate performance insights into creative strategies and testable concepts.
  • Develop and iterate on campaign messaging, visuals, and storytelling to optimize conversion and engagement metrics.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to align growth initiatives with product launches, feature adoption, and user education moments.
  • Oversee the end‑to‑end creative process — from brief to delivery — ensuring clarity, quality, and on‑time execution.
  • Manage and prioritize creative requests across global and regional teams, balancing brand and performance goals.
  • Coordinate internal and external design resources, flexing capacity based on campaign volume and strategic priorities.
  • Analyze creative performance data and identify patterns, learnings, and opportunities to scale high‑performing ideas.
  • Champion experimentation and data‑informed creativity — pushing boundaries while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Stay up‑to‑date on digital trends, creative formats, and growth tactics to continually evolve our approach.
Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in creative, growth, or digital marketing roles — ideally in tech, fintech, or high‑growth environments.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute creative strategies that drive measurable results (CTR, CVR, retention, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of lifecycle and growth marketing channels, including email, paid media, and in‑product engagement.
  • Strong storytelling and visual communication skills, with a portfolio that shows conceptual thinking and performance impact.
  • Excellent collaborator who can bridge creative, marketing, and product functions seamlessly.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using creative performance data to inform future work.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with creative testing frameworks and performance analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, personalization, and A/B testing platforms.
  • Experience leading creative direction for B2B or fintech products across APAC or global markets.
  • Experience in fast‑paced environments, preferably within a startup or scale‑up.
