Job summary

A growing MNC manufacturing group in Singapore is seeking a finance professional to lead financial consolidation and reporting. The role involves ensuring compliance with accounting standards and enhancing internal controls. Ideal candidates have a degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA/CPA/CA qualifications, and 5-8 years of relevant experience. Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency with ERP systems are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in group reporting, consolidation, or audit.
• Minimum 3 years in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong technical accounting and consolidation knowledge (IFRS).

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in driving financial excellence and compliance in a growing MNC manufacturing group.
• Lead financial consolidation and reporting for our group manufacturing operations.
• This role ensures accurate group financial statements, compliance with accounting standards, and strong internal controls across all entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial reports (IFRS/local GAAP).
• Review and analyse group performance, cost variances, and profitability.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and coordinate with external auditors during interim and year-end audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements across subsidiaries.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA, CPA, or CA preferred.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in group reporting, consolidation, or audit
• Minimum 3 years in the manufacturing industry
• Strong technical accounting and consolidation knowledge (IFRS)
• Experience with ERP or consolidation systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, etc.) will be advantage
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
