Job description

1. Work outdoors much of the time and in all kinds of weather conditions. Some of the work is physically demanding and involves lifting and handling machinery like tractors, rollers and movers.

2. Prepare, establish and manage fine turf (Cricket wicket, lawn bowls greens), grassed areas of the Padang and synthetic surfaces used for all sports.

3. Identify and treat pests and diseases on plants.

4. Use of growth regulators and other chemicals.

5. Maintain the Sports field and other grassed areas by fertilizing, trimming and ensuring that said areas are receiving adequate water.

6. Maintain the Sports field and other grassed areas as well as synthetic surfaces using machinery, fertilizers and/or chemicals.

7. Assist in the organization of logistics for events organized at the Sports field.

8. Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment and machinery.

9. Sweeping the carpark and surrounding grounds and keeping them clean and tidy.

10. Any other duties as and when organized by the Head Groundsman

11. Any other duties and projects as and when required by the Management or any officers designated by the Management.
