Job description

We are looking for a passionate process engineer intern to join our Thinfilm CVD team. As a Thinfilm CVD process engineer, you will work with cross functional team members spanning Equipment, Quality & Manufacturing, to assist your scope of work in process optimisation & improvement and understanding of test failure according to industrial standards.

With STMicroelectronics technical support and guidance:

  • Work on cycle time reduction, yield & process improvement projects
  • Perform new equipment startup, qualification and develop working procedure
  • Experiments on new process and qualification
  • Support R&D development activities

You will gain technical skills and competence on:

  • Deeper understanding of wafer fabrication manufacturing process
  • Working knowledge on Thinfilm/CVD related process & equipment
  • Industrial standards on quality and methodology of process change
  • Analytical skills on defect analysis and process deviation
Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (TCE) Electronics and Data Engineering (EDE) Engineering Systems (ESE) Electrical Power Engineering (EPE) Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Engineering (MDME) Mechanical Engineering (MEC)
  • Able to work fast-paced environment and communicate with diverse group of people
  • Able to participate in on-the-job training with good interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and taking initiatives
