Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Director in identifying, monitoring, communicating, and reviewing the department’s performance and outcome indicators to ensure goals are achieved effectively and efficiently.
- Strategically plan and review resource allocation (manpower and financial) to support competing departmental objectives.
- Develop and implement the TWSH Framework with an emphasis on Occupational Health and Staff Protection.
- Lead the Secretariat for the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council and Occupational Health (OH) Committee.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of new TWSH initiatives, from conceptualisation to execution.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of TWSH programmes and drive continuous improvement to meet the organisation’s objectives.
- Supervise the operations of the Occupational Health Clinic to ensure seamless service delivery and safeguard staff safety and well‑being.
- Oversee the Staff Protection Office, focusing on preventing and managing staff abuse or harassment by external parties, including post‑incident management and preventive measures such as training and education.
- Lead and participate in organisation‑wide projects as assigned.
- Support emergency planning exercises and provide assistance during organisational emergencies or incidents when required.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher. A Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)–related qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant working experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
