Job summary

A global maritime solutions company in Singapore is looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant. The applicant will design, develop, and support integrations across Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in Finance systems, including 5 years in Oracle Fusion, and is skilled in managing incidents and stakeholder relationships. This role offers a dynamic work environment focused on delivering innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the ideal candidate, you are an experienced Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant to design, develop, and support integrations, reporting, and data extraction solutions across Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. Specifically, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, BI Cloud Connector (BICC) and FBDI to enable seamless system integrations, analytics, and data movement. You are well acquainted with the audit & compliance requirement revolving around change controls and management.

You know well how to organize a lean operation of an ERP team, balancing well the desired high user satisfaction with the necessary optimisation of incident management and best operational costs. Structuring, leading and implementing improvements/ projects revolving around the technical aspects is familiar to you. You feel comfortable in leading productive discussions in a larger senior audience, and you can conceptualize well your thoughts and structure them efficiently within a presentation using modern communication tools.

You will be the technical subject-matter-expert for our Oracle Fusion technical applications and report to the Head of Business Solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Systems Architecture & Design, Development, development/configuration of
    • OIC interfaces and linkages with Treasury systems such as Kyriba, Payroll systems, banks, Oracle FCCS and commercial systems.
    • BI Cloud Connector (BICC) extracts for data warehouse and downstream systems
    • BI Publisher (BIP) reports (RTF, Excel, bursting, scheduling)
    • OTBI dashboards, subject areas, and custom analyses for business users
    • OCI services such as Object Storage, Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Compute, and Networking including monitoring of OCI resources, performance, and security configurations
  • Responsible for Incident Management, Service Request and Change Management and ensure all incident tickets are managed and resolved within SLA for portfolio in scope. Serve as primary-in-charge technical person for Oracle ERP Cloud and its linkages with other external systems.
  • Engage actively with users - Manage business users and respective IT in accordance to agreed corporate IT governance
  • Adhere to IT Governance of Demand Management via Change Control Board, Standardize delivery Solutions Delivery Life Cycle and Service Delivery, Enterprise Architecture framework, Guidelines, Standards & Policies, Project Management standards
  • Regularly review risk exposure related to portfolio in scope and recommend corresponding control measures to mitigate risk pursuant to risk management principles, framework & process
  • Support conduct of annual internal and external assessment and audits for portfolio in scope
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in implementation, management and operations support of Finance systems, with a minimum of 5 years in Oracle Fusion
  • Hands-on experience in supporting an end-user environment, strong in solutions and service delivery processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional, multi-disciplined teams
  • Well versed with project management methodologies.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders and IT governance forum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support a wide range of users.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, passionate and strategic thinker with a strong problem-solving aptitude
  • Certification in PMP. Certification in ITIL Foundation a plus
  • Knowledge in FBDI/ Web ADI, SOAP and REST integration a plus
