Job summary

A construction management company in Singapore is looking for a Safety and Health Officer. The role involves conducting safety inspections, assisting with risk assessments, and conducting incident investigations. Candidates should have preferably 5 years of WSHO experience and a minimum of 3 years in construction. Additionally, being medically fit and having transport is preferred. This position promotes a safe workplace culture through training and guideline development.

Job description
Scope and Responsibity:
  • Performed safety and health inspections to eradicate unsafe acts, conditions and unacceptable occupational risks at the workplace and report all infringements on safety and health issues (including taking photos) to management and person in-charge.
  • Assist the person in charge of the workplace to identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace and work processes.
  • Recommend of workplace reasonably practicable measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person at work.
  • Assist in the preparation & submission of safety and health documents to authority.
  • Conduct incident investigation relating to employees if any incident occur in the premises and prepare preliminary reports to management and assist in work injury compensation claim and reporting.
  • Initiate necessary arrangement for fellow workers to undergo the required safety and health orientation course and other safety and health related courses.
  • Conduct in-house safety training to instill safety consciousness among workers to improve and upgrade their safety and health knowledge when required.
  • Develop and review company’s Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedures.
  • Asssit to update safety and health documentation.
  • Attend client internal meeting and site meetings.
  • Experience in Building works and Road Works
Requirement:
  • Singaporean / PR
  • 5.5 days work week
  • Preferably 5 years WSHO Experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in construction
  • Perbaly with 3 Years LTA Experience
  • Medically fit
  • Preferably with own transport
