About the Role

We are engaged by an enrichment centre, to employ Maths Teacher for children between 3 to 12 years old. The candidate would inspire students’ learning and interest in

(1) their mental arithmetic for the younger students between 3 to 6 and

(2) MOE maths curriculum for the Primary school students within a caring and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Maths enrichment and revision lessons for a class size of max 12 students
• Familiarise with lesson materials, including pre‑class preparation. Materials are provided.
• Grade students’ homework and monitor progress.
• Provide feedback and communicate with parents after class.
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Education, or a related field.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching abacus, mental arithmetic or MOE maths preferred.
• Responsible, motivated, patient, approachable, and enjoys working with children.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Preschool teachers welcome.

Details

• Location: Marine Parade
• Working Hours: 42 hours per week (Tue to Fri 3.30 pm–9 pm; weekends 8.30 am to 5.30 pm)
• Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
