Here, your expertise will shape digital platforms that drive data-driven land policy, enable cutting‑edge mapping, and empower key public initiatives, all while collaborating with talented UI/UX, DevOps, and QA professionals in a dynamic and growth‑focused workplace.

Deliver solutions at scale, innovate with the latest in geospatial and cloud technologies, and make a real difference in how Singapore’s land, space, and data shape vibrant urban living

The Challenge

  • Architect, build, and support robust end‑to‑end platforms using Next.js for user interfaces and advanced backend technologies for API development.
  • Demonstrate strong capabilities in developing RESTful APIs that integrate seamlessly with AWS cloud services and various external systems.
  • Create engaging, interactive map‑centric solutions leveraging Leaflet.js or equivalent libraries, incorporating geospatial APIs and AWS‑based datasets.
  • Partner with UI/UX designers to craft web interfaces that are highly responsive, accessible, and optimized for excellent user experience.
  • Enhance system scalability, observability, and cost effectiveness by leveraging AWS native capabilities to their fullest.
  • Collaborate closely with QA and DevOps experts to drive automated testing, efficient CI/CD practices, and stable deployment pipelines.
  • Maintain thorough documentation spanning system design, API details, and deployment methodologies for transparency and knowledge transfer.
  • Uphold the highest standards of security, ensuring all solutions align with AWS best practices and comply with relevant industry standards.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Strong proficiency in Next.js (React framework), including SSR (server‑side rendering), SSG (static site generation), and API routes.
  • Solid experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs (GraphQL knowledge is a plus).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for both frontend and backend development.
  • Backend experience with Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar).
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS services, including:
  • Amazon OpenSearch Service (search and analytics)
  • AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and S3 for serverless and storage solutions
  • Familiarity with Leaflet.js or similar mapping libraries for geospatial applications.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and Git workflows.
