Available Position: Freelance Chinese Language Tutor

We are looking for dedicated and engaging tutors to join our growing team.

Subjects

• Primary Chinese / Higher Chinese
• Secondary Chinese / Higher Chinese
• Junior College/IP Chinese
• International Curriculum (IGCSE / IB)

Compensation

Competitive hourly rates based on experience and class size

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Chinese lessons aligned with MOE / IGCSE / IB syllabuses
• Inspire students to appreciate Chinese culture, language, and literature
• Design lessons that enhance reading, writing, listening, and speaking proficiency
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to different learning styles and proficiency levels
• Mark assignments, provide constructive feedback, and monitor student progress
• Communicate effectively with parents and the Academic Head
• Contribute to curriculum development and creation of learning resources

Requirements

• Open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only
• University Degree (Education or subject-relevant field preferred)
• Strong command of Chinese
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred
• Passionate about teaching and inspiring confidence in learners
• Patient, adaptable, and committed to student success
• Able to teach after-school hours and/or weekends
