Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

· Load and unload raw materials and finished goods from lorries, ensuring proper stacking and storage procedures.

· Safely transport, stage, and organize palletized products within the warehouse.

· Safely transport materials to designated storage areas.

· Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

· Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and in optimal working condition.

· Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.

· Collaborate with warehouse and worksite crew to fulfill material handling requirements and maintain a smooth workflow.

· Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking incoming and outgoing materials.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles and pathways are clear and free of obstacles.

Requirements:

· Valid forklift operator license and proven experience in operating forklifts.
