- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team, colleagues and visitors to the working environment.

Conduct Slinging and Rigging Operations
- Perform weight assessments and Risk Assessments before lifting awkward loads.
- Check preparation of loads for lifting (Load is secure and stable).
- Use various lifting items (plate clamps, barrel lifters, chain hoists, etc.).
- Perform bundling and slinging of simple and awkward loads.
Perform Effective Signalling / Communications
- Direct the movement and placement of loads using appropriate hand and radio communication techniques.
- Rig, sling and position the blind load using appropriate hand signals.
- Rig, sling and position the blind load using radio communications.
Perform Inspections and Maintain Safe Procedures for Helideck Operations
- Inspect the helideck for loose materials and protruding objects.
- Ensure the integrity of the Helideck and associated equipment (navaids and landing aids) by conducting checks daily and before flight arrivals.
- Ensure personnel on the Helideck are conducted safely to and from the aircraft.
- Stow and remove luggage and freight according to safe working practices.
Contribute to the Health and Safety of the Working Environment
- The work area within your own responsibility is kept clean and free of hazards.
- Positive action is taken to stop hazards and unsafe behaviours.
- Alarms are raised as appropriate and/or acted upon using applied policies and procedures or initiative.
- Record maintenance activities and report defects immediately and effectively.
Monitor and Maintain Pollution Control Measures
- Controlled process or utility discharges from the area of responsibility to the environment are within prescribed limits.
- Unplanned discharges are identified, halted where possible and reported according to Management System guidelines.
- Equipment, waste or other materials for disposal are segregated properly and dealt with according to the correct procedure.
Emergency Response
- Demonstrate competence in Emergency Response drills and exercises.
- Carry out the Emergency Response role (See Station Bill).
Requirements
- Willing to undertake both onshore and offshore assignments as required.
- Able to complete assigned rotations or projects fully and remain for the entire assignment period.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in onshore and/or offshore roles within the oil & gas industry.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance and operations activities.
- Physically fit to work in onshore and offshore environments.
