Job Summary: As the Food Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the assigned production shift to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality food manufacturing processes. This role includes supervising production staff, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate production shifts
  • Ensure adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), and food safety standards.
  • Monitor production workflows.
  • Help train, mentor, and evaluate production employees; provide feedback and corrective actions when necessary.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Inventory teams to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
  • Lead safety initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Enforce company policies and disciplinary procedures when required.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing, including 1+ year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, FSSC, BRC).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing software (e.g., ERP systems).
Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, temperature changes, and food ingredients.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
