Job description
Job Description & Requirements
  • Responsible for the daily coordination, improvement and execution of all food manufacturing operations; overseeing production, planning, quality control and maintenance
  • You will also be accountable for cost management including equipment efficiencies, waste, direct labor and materials, generating reports on these financial targets and other kpi’s
  • Responsible for leading and supervising workers in the production to meet product quality and customer’s delivery expectations
  • Responsible for ensuring safety standards are maintained in the safe and secure work environment
  • Responsible for managing plant daily output targets, operational efficiency and productivity
  • Manage the processing of food products or the machinery and processes involved in food production
  • Ensures food safety systems (haccp, ssop and gmp’s) and general workplace safety policies are followed in food processing and production. L place food orders to maintain inventory levels and interface with vendors to meet production schedules
  • Observes all safety rules and regulations inspects product quality according to quality guidelines
  • Performs minor maintenance tasks on equipment
  • Schedules manning based on production needs
  • Monitors shift productions to productivity metric
  • Ensure day-to-day operations functions efficiently and smoothly
