Job description
About the Company

Our client is a dominant global leader in their space. This is a newly created position to support their expanding team and we are seeking a high-caliber US GAAP Specialist to serve as the technical anchor for their global consolidation and reporting functions.

About the Job

Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, you will serve as the definitive technical anchor and standalone SME for all US GAAP and SEC reporting matters. This is a 'builder' role designed for a high-performer who thrives in high-growth, ambiguous environments and can independently apply complex standards such as ASC 340 and 802 across multi-currency and multi-entity global consolidations. As a strategic partner to auditors, legal counsel, and Group M&A teams, you will spearhead technical accounting memoranda, SOX controls, and internal restructurings. Success in this role requires a blend of strategic thinking and elite communication skills, allowing you to manage stakeholders with a diplomatic yet assertive approach while driving continuous improvements in finance processes.

Skills and Experience Required

A recognized Degree in Accounting, ACCA, or equivalent, with at least 10 years of relevant experience. A deep technical foundation in US GAAP is essential. We welcome high-performing Big 4 Audit Senior Managers with a proven track record of success looking to transition into a global commercial role.

Why this is a Good Role

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-velocity business where your technical expertise directly impacts global strategy. You will be given the autonomy to shape the team as it expands, with clear pathways into senior leadership within the finance function.
