Job Description:

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.

• Ensure timely and accurate MAS regulatory reporting (e.g., MAS 610, MAS 649, Basel III requirements).

• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors and manage relationships with regulatory bodies.

• Monitor cash flow, capital adequacy, and liquidity positions.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead annual budgeting, financial planning, and rolling forecasts.

• Analyze financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis.

• Support business units with financial modelling and scenario planning.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Establish and maintain robust financial controls and governance frameworks.

• Ensure compliance with all MAS regulations and internal risk policies.

• Coordinate with internal audit and risk teams to implement recommendations and remedial actions.

Strategic Support

• Partner with senior leadership to support strategic business initiatives.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and trends.

• Participate in ALCO (Asset & Liability Committee) and other financial governance forums.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance with relevant professional certification such as CPA.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance, with at least 3 years of experience as a financial controller.

• Strong expertise in Financial reporting, Regulatory reporting, Tax and Audit matters.
