Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Financial Manager for the engineering sector. Our Client:

Responsibilities
  • Partner Internally to assess funding requirements, develop monthly cash flow plans, and create quarterly financial forecasts.
  • Analyze budget performance by comparing actual expenses to forecasts.
  • Identify and secure competitive bond and insurance providers by evaluating options and creating comparison tables.
  • Manage and forecast foreign currency needs, tracking exchange rate movements and developing strategies to mitigate forex risk.
  • Work with the corporate secretary to handle all company secretarial matters and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain communication with bankers, insurance providers, regulatory authorities, and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data, provide strategic financial advice, and support informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Prepare and manage monthly financial reports, including cash flow projections, banking facilities summary, updates on Letter of Credit and invoice financing, details of project bonds and insurance, planned foreign currency needs with forward contracts, and documentation of corporate resolutions and meeting minutes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent.
  • Min. 10 years of relevant experience in managing accounts for multiple entities in the Engineering / Construction industry.
  • Prior experience in Audit will be an added advantage.
