Job description

We are a fast-growing private fund managing multi-asset investments in both public and private markets.

Responsibilities
  • Controllership of multi asset portfolio
  • Change Management responsibilities including transitions to new systems/ operating models
  • Ownership for monthly performance reports of portfolios
  • Risk Management and Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to streamline Fund operations
  • Ownership of Back-office governance & controls processes and systems
  • Assist in preparing board packs relating to back-office process such as relating to financials, compliance checker etc
  • Liaising with 3rd party service providers including Auditors
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
  • Fund Controllership Experience
  • Demonstrated track record of leading or involvement with change management projects such as new system roll-out, implementation of new processes etc.
  • Working knowledge of investment products, investment operations, and industry regulations. Familiarity with various asset classes, such as equities, fixed income, Alternatives
  • Prior experience in change management & fund accounting & investment reporting or related roles is required, with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary for analyzing investment performance metrics, identifying trends, and conducting risk assessments. The ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights is highly valuable
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced investment operations environment
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify operational inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement process improvements is crucial for optimizing investment operations and enhancing efficiency
  • Leadership and Communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders, and presenting investment operations information to senior management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with Bloomberg / Other portfolio management software
  • Detailed-oriented and high level of work quality
  • Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, hands-on, takes initiative and be able to work independently
