Job description

• Location: Kallang
• Salary: $5.5k + AWS + VB

Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Accounting

• Manage daily accounting activities including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and month-end closing
• Prepare and submit periodic GST returns in accordance with local tax regulations
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist in management reporting and financial analysis
• Support audit activities and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and banks

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting
• Monitor budget vs actual performance and analyze variances
• Provide cost control and expense analysis

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Support implementation and improvement of internal controls and SOPs
• Assist in statutory filings and regulatory reporting

Business Support

• Support cross‑functional teams on finance‑related matters
• Assist in system implementation or improvement (ERP / accounting systems)
• Ad-hoc finance projects and management requests

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5 - 10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
