A medical devices company in Singapore is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting and analysis for the Medical Devices Segment. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within medical devices. Candidates should possess strong skills in SAP Accounting, Microsoft Office, and exhibit leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. The position demands collaboration with various departments and includes responsibilities such as financial closing, budgeting, and liaising with external auditors.

Review monthly management accounts for all entities and prepare the Medical Devices Segment (MDS) internal assessment report, including variance and analytical analysis.
Prepare financial slides and materials for the MDS Board Pack, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments (Operations, Sales, Procurement, and Production) to support financial reporting and analysis.
Review and prepare product contribution margin and gross profit reports to support management decision-making.
Assist in the monthly financial closing process, including allocation of direct labour and manufacturing overheads.
Support the annual budgeting process for MDS, covering operating budgets and capital expenditure planning.
Calculate and estimate monthly sales commission accruals.
Coordinate and organize month-end inventory stock takes, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
Review quarterly GST submissions prior to CFO review and approval in the tax portal.
Review and approve Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company policies and controls.
Liaise with external auditors, including preparation of audit schedules and addressing audit queries.
Handle ad-hoc finance-related tasks as assigned by management.
Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related98division.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (medical devices experience is an advantage).
Strong working knowledge of SAP Accounting System and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Solid understanding of manufacturing cost structures, inventory, and margin analysis.
Proven leadership, organizational, and coordination skills.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
