Job Overview

We are a dynamic new start-up seeking an experienced Finance Manager with a strong financial and analytical background to oversee the full spectrum of finance functions for our F&B manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial planning, cost control, analysis, and decision support to drive business performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
  • Oversee full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and month-end/year-end closing
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly management reports, financial statements, and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
Financial Analysis & Business Partnering
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis on costs, margins, pricing, and profitability
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, food costs, inventory valuation, and wastage
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management to support strategic and operational decisions
  • Perform variance analysis against budget and forecast, and explain key movements
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises
  • Track performance against budgets and identify cost‑saving opportunities
  • Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management
Cost Control & Process Improvement
  • Implement and strengthen internal controls and financial processes
  • Work closely with operations, procurement, and production teams to improve cost efficiency
  • Review inventory management, stock controls, and production costing
Audit, Tax & Compliance
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities
  • Prepare audit schedules and support annual audit and tax filings
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (CPA, ACCA, CA preferred)
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in F&B manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries
  • Strong financial analysis, costing, and reporting skills
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing cost structures and inventory accounting
  • Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with accounting/ERP systems is an advantage
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally
