Job Summary

This role will report to the Head of Operations & Corporate Services. You will be responsible for Mindfull Community Limited's full set of accounts, bank reconciliations, financial and management reporting, budget oversight, and liaising with auditors, funders, and regulators for reports & claim submissions. These efforts contribute to Mindfull’s ability to deliver on our mission towards a world where mental wellness is embraced by all – free from stigma, supported by community and integrated seamlessly into everyday life.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting and charity standards.
  • Handle full set of accounts including billing, payments, and expense claims.
  • Manage monthly payroll including CPF contributions, IR8A and IR21.
  • Prepare, oversee and evaluate month-end reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, & financial statements for reporting to management, EXCO, & Board.
  • Present financial, management reports and budgets to management and stakeholders (e.g. EXCO, Board) when required.
  • Work with all departments to prepare and plan budget, and monitor any variances.
  • Follow up on donations and tax exemption receipts and payment matters.
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, government authorities, regulators or funders, for management of matters such as annual Audit, statutory tax compliance or queries from IRAS, and timely submission of reports for grant claims.
  • Oversee conformance to statutory requirements and internal financial controls, and support efforts for organisation-wide adherence to financial policies.
  • Provide supervision to the Finance Executive.
  • Support improvements and automation for finance policy and processes.
  • Assist in related administrative work to support management.
  • Perform other related functions that may be assigned.

Job Requirement

  • Able to start work immediately
  • Bachelor of Commerce or Accountancy / Other Accounting qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with full set accounting, and understanding of local statutory requirements.
  • Experience in the social service sector and/or accounting for charities/ IPCs is preferred.
  • Meticulous, responsible, and independent.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, with good leadership capability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred.
