Job summary

A leading finance company is looking for a Finance Manager who will manage general ledger responsibilities and oversee monthly and year-end closings. The ideal candidate should have strong Mandarin proficiency and a background in finance or accounting, preferably in the construction sector. This role offers flexible work arrangements with a salary up to RM6,500 per month.

Qualifications

• Strong Mandarin proficiency to work effectively with Chinese contractors & teams.
• Finance / Accounting background with experience in Construction sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage General Ledger & lead monthly / quarterly / year‑end closing.
• Prepare Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statement.
• Perform budget vs actual, cost analysis & profitability analysis.
• Handle corporate income tax, withholding tax & SST filings.
• Provide tax optimisation insights.
• Maintain & improve internal control procedures.
• Coordinate internal & external audits.
• Review payroll prepared by HR (EPF, SOCSO, EIS accuracy).

💰 Salary

Up to RM6,500 / month

1-Year Contract option to extend or conversion to Perm

🕒 Working Hours / Duration

• 5-day work week (Mon–Fri)
• 8.30am - 6pm

📍 Location

Work From Home (Malaysia-based)

After 1 year: Office may shift to JB or Penang

🔧 Key Responsibilities
