Job summary

A global enterprise solutions firm in Singapore is seeking a competent Security professional for their finance team. You'll oversee the management of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL) functions, ensuring meticulous accounting records and timely month-end closing. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting or Finance and possesses sound analytical skills. Experience with Xero and familiarity with crypto accounting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Financial Reporting Standards and accounting principles required.
• Two years of experience in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Experience with crypto accounting and foreign exchange is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts - AR, AP, GL.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations and ensure timely month-end closing.
• Prepare month-end PL reporting and balance sheet schedules.

We are growing and looking for a competent Security professional to grow with us as we scale. Based mainly in APAC we service a global client base ranging from small enterprises to large corporates and everything in between.

About the job

You will be responsible for the comprehensive management of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) and General Ledger (GL) functions. The accounting records, procedures and processes must be meticulously maintained. You will also be tasked with conducting monthly reconciliations of various ledgers and bank/cash accounts and to ensure timely month‑end closing of all financial accounts. You will also assist with other ad‑hoc duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Full sets of accounts - AR, AP, GL
• Raising invoices to customers
• Taking in invoices to the organization
• Cash, bank and credit card reconciliations
• Conduct month‑end financial closing activities with precision and accuracy
• Intercompany transactions and billings
• Intercompany reconciliation
• Month‑end PL reporting
• Month‑end balance sheet schedules reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent certification
• Good knowledge in Financial Reporting Standards and accounting principles
• Strong analytical mindset
• Proficient in Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel
• Good attention to detail
• Strong numerical aptitude
• Preferably with 2 years of Accounting or Finance experience; candidates without relevant experience but who possess a good attitude and willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
