Campari Group employs approximately 4,000 people and has its own distribution network in 22 countries.As the Finance Director, India, you will be a crucial member of the local leadership team, serving as a key business partner to the Leadership team. Your responsibilities include overseeing all financial operations of the legal entity, ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning to support sustainable growth and profitability. You will act as a strategic advisor to the Managing Director and senior stakeholders, focusing on driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation.Your role will involve leadership in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), statutory reporting, internal controls, treasury, tax, and governance. Collaboration with regional and global finance teams will be essential to align local execution with corporate objectives.Your key responsibilities and activities will include leading the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans. Analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to leadership will be crucial. You will oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, statutory audits, and compliance with IFRS and local GAAP. Managing working capital, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning will also be part of your responsibilities.Additionally, you will ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations, oversee tax planning, transfer pricing, and statutory filings. Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to optimize cost structures, evaluate commercial initiatives, and drive profitability will be key. Identifying and transitioning finance activities to shared services for cost optimization and efficiency improvement will be part of your role as well.Building and mentoring a high-performing finance team, developing succession plans, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and ethical conduct will be crucial to your success. Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicating financial results, risks, and opportunities clearly to senior leadership will be essential.The ideal candidate will have at least 10 to 15 years of experience as an auditor and/or Finance Director, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles such as FP&A Head or Business Controller. A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory, with a Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) preferred. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities are required, along with expertise in strategic planning, financial modeling, and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.,
