Our Client

Our client is a leading lifestyle, entertainment, and hospitality group headquartered in Singapore, operating a portfolio of well-recognised venues and experiential concepts across Asia and the United States. The organisation is dynamic, fast-growing, and known for its innovation in consumer experiences. As the business scales globally, the finance function is undergoing transformation to support stronger governance, commercial clarity, and operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Finance Director will serve as a key business partner to senior leadership and take full ownership of group-level finance operations. Core responsibilities include:

  • Lead finance transformation initiatives, including redesigning processes, strengthening internal controls, and driving automation/ERP improvements across multiple entities.

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and provide strategic insights to guide executive decision-making.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, consolidation, cash flow management, and compliance with regulatory standards across Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, the US, and other markets.

  • Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to identify risks, evaluate opportunities, and support long-term business and investment strategy.

  • Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and change readiness.

  • Engage external stakeholders including auditors, partners, and financial institutions.

  • Support the organisation’s expansion efforts, including new business models, restructuring initiatives, and commercial decision support.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CA preferred.

  • 10+ years of finance leadership experience, ideally from hospitality, F&B, consumer, or other fast-paced multi-entity environments.

  • Strong track record in finance transformation, ERP implementation/upgrade, system optimisation, and streamlining end-to-end processes.

  • Solid technical experience in consolidation, reporting, governance, and internal controls.

  • Proven ability to operate in a hands‑on, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves capacity while still contributing at a strategic level.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders across cultures and markets.

  • Experience managing overseas finance teams or multi‑country operations is a strong advantage.
