Job summary

A leading medical device company headquartered in Singapore is seeking a Finance Consolidation & System Implementation Specialist for a 6-month contract. The role involves managing OneStream implementations, improving consolidation processes, and ensuring IFRS compliance. Ideal candidates will have over 7 years of accounting experience, strong knowledge of SAP, and proven experience in month-end consolidation. A CPA qualification is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English are essential for effective teamwork and leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a Big 4 CPA firm.
  • Knowledge on finance systems, especially OneStream consolidation system preferred.
  • Experience with month-end consolidation is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in OneStream implementation and system integration.
  • Manage OneStream consolidation activities and ensure IFRS compliance.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance consolidation processes.
  • Support Business Unit separation and trial balance generation.
  • Assist in FP&A transformation through OneStream.

Finance Consolidation & System Implementation Specialist (6 Month Contract)

Our client is a leading medical device business globally headquartered in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
  • OneStream Implementation: Actively participate in the ongoing OneStream implementation project, playing a key role in system integration and process enhancement.
  • Financial Consolidation & Reporting: Manage various OneStream consolidation activities, including collecting reporting packages, reviewing subsidiary financial data, preparing elimination/adjusting entries, and collaborating closely with subsidiary accounting teams to ensure IFRS compliance.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance consolidation processes across the group, driving efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Business Unit Separation: Support the separation of Business Units (BU) by generating separate trial balances within the consolidation system and performing BU-level consolidations.
  • Financial Systems & FP&A Transformation: Assist in the OneStream implementation to enable accurate management reporting, supporting FP&A transformation and improving financial processes.
  • Teamwork: Foster strong team dynamics, promote technical excellence within the team, and encourage effective collaboration across functions.
Top 3 requirements for this hire
  • Hands‑on experiences and knowledge on SAP.
  • Hands‑on experience and in‑depth knowledge in performing month‑end consolidation. It’s a must have.
  • Knowledge of finance system implemented. Knowledge on OneStream consolidation system will be very much preferred.
Accountability NA Professional/License Certification

CPA is preferred. Formal Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a Degree majoring in Accounting or related field.

  • Proven experience in consolidation accounting in multinational environments.

Experience

Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, either at professional firms or corporate accounting teams. Background in a Big 4 CPA firm is preferred.
