Finance Consolidation & System Implementation Specialist (6 Month Contract)
Our client is a leading medical device business globally headquartered in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- OneStream Implementation: Actively participate in the ongoing OneStream implementation project, playing a key role in system integration and process enhancement.
- Financial Consolidation & Reporting: Manage various OneStream consolidation activities, including collecting reporting packages, reviewing subsidiary financial data, preparing elimination/adjusting entries, and collaborating closely with subsidiary accounting teams to ensure IFRS compliance.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance consolidation processes across the group, driving efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Business Unit Separation: Support the separation of Business Units (BU) by generating separate trial balances within the consolidation system and performing BU-level consolidations.
- Financial Systems & FP&A Transformation: Assist in the OneStream implementation to enable accurate management reporting, supporting FP&A transformation and improving financial processes.
- Teamwork: Foster strong team dynamics, promote technical excellence within the team, and encourage effective collaboration across functions.

- Hands‑on experiences and knowledge on SAP.
- Hands‑on experience and in‑depth knowledge in performing month‑end consolidation. It’s a must have.
- Knowledge of finance system implemented. Knowledge on OneStream consolidation system will be very much preferred.
Accountability NA Professional/License Certification
CPA is preferred. Formal Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a Degree majoring in Accounting or related field.
Key Skills / Core Competencies
- In‑depth knowledge of IFRS, and global accounting & consolidation principles.
- Proven experience in consolidation accounting in multinational environments.
- Hands‑on experience with EPM software, e.g. OneStream, and proficiency in SAP.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and a strong commitment to excellence.
- Experience in accounting system implementations and process improvements.
Experience
Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, either at professional firms or corporate accounting teams. Background in a Big 4 CPA firm is preferred.
